Meet Our Founder
Rachael Tanner
Soul Studio was founded by remedial massage therapist, artist and museologist Rachael Tanner, whose vision is to create a healing space where exceptional practitioners can work alongside one another within a beautiful, calm and thoughtfully curated environment.
Drawing on a background in massage therapy, yoga, ceremony and the arts, Rachael has intentionally designed Soul Studio to feel less like a clinic and more like a sanctuary ~ where both clients and practitioners feel welcomed, supported and inspired.
While Rachael continues to offer her own treatments at Soul Studio, her passion extends beyond her individual practice. She is committed to growing a collective of practitioners who share a common standard of care, professionalism and genuine human connection.
Soul Studio Vision
At the heart of the vision for Soul Studio is to strengthen the connection between people, culture, community and country. Rachael believes in the power of somatic, ceremonial, visionary, and creative bodywork arts to heal, to educate, and to bring us home to our bodies, minds, hearts, souls and spirit.
Her work is in devotion to create a reciprocal relationship between earth and community, and our cultural and embodied practices around this. Her work offers a return to relationship with breath, with soul, with ourselves and one another.
Rachael is passionate about the transformative power of education, and believe that learning is a sacred act. It allows us as individuals and as communities to reimagine the future, to expand beyond inherited limitations, and to build more conscious, reciprocal relationships with the land and each other. Soul Studio is about the sharing of knowledge and wisdoms, it is a sanctuary for learning, sharing and growing as a collective community.
At her core, and at the core of the experience at Soul Studio, is a space for education, creative arts expression, museology, yoga philosophy, mysticism and health leadership.
