Visual Artist

Rachael Tanner is an artist from Brisbane, Meanjin, living and working in Hobart, Nipaluna. Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Queensland College of Art, 2015, and Master of Museum & Cultural Studies at the University of Queensland, 2021. 

In her Visual Arts practice she utilises embodied, process-led practices experienced by the body as the groundwork for a multidisciplinary visual and cultural exploration. The art seeks to weave together divergent ideas and philosophies from ancient and modern understandings of our somatic experience and the transcendental.
